ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000 Certification

Recently manufacturers have been required to satisfy customer’s demand on not only “quality of the products” but also “total quality” including manufacturing process, sanitary environmental consciousness, and record keeping. Based on our philosophy to meet such customers’ demand and to do work of good quality, Nissei obtained the international certification ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000. We will continue to supply quality and safe products to our customers in accordance with the international standards and our policy to value customers and quality.

ISO 9001
ISO 9001 is the international standard for a quality management system established in 1987. The standards aim to maintain quality assurance system and to provide reliable products to customer’s satisfaction by establishing quality policy, working procedures, record keeping and continual improvement of the system.
FSSC 22000
FSSC 22000 (Food Safety System Certification 22000) is the new food safety standard for food manufacturers, which was developed by the Foundation for Food Safety Certification founded in the Netherlands in 2004. FSSC 22000 was recognized as one of the certification schemes of food safety by GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) .

HACCP System

Nissei performs sanitary control based on HACCP at all of our plants to supply safe products to our customers. In addition, we established prerequisite programs for in-plant facilities and equipments, water, personnel hygiene and so on. We ensure to our customers safe products produced at more clean and sanitary plants under HACCP.
HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point)
HACCP has been increasingly applied to food manufacturers from the need to prevent the Product Liability risk and food poisoning problem. HACCP method provides a plan to establish and audit safe food production practices.
